Executive Vice President

David Barbier

As the proverbial middle child in a family of nine children, David never missed an opportunity to hang out with his Dad when he went to work.  At five years old after visiting his first job site, he immediately became enamored with the sights and sounds of construction on a very up close and personal level.  David’s nearly 40 years’ experience has been invaluable leading RGGC’s preconstruction division.  His first love is historic restoration and renovation, and is very proud of his association with the Cabildo Restoration, French Market Building ‘D’, Myrtle Banks Redevelopment and the Edible Schoolyard Teaching Kitchen.

As an avid enthusiast of good food and wine, dining out and cooking-in hold equal sway for David.  He also regularly attends LPO performances and Broadway shows at the Saenger Theater.
