Trinity Jack’s House is a historic 3-story residential building located in the heart of Uptown, right off Jackson Avenue. Originally constructed in the 1800s, it once housed religious members affiliated with the neighboring Trinity Episcopal Church, contributing to the neighborhood’s rich history since the 1840s. This project encompassed a complete renovation of the existing building alongside two new construction additions. Our goal was to revitalize this historic site while preserving its architectural heritage and transforming it into an administrative office building for Trinity Church and School. Key updates included a new elevator, a stairwell, and expanded office spaces on the first and second floors. One unique aspect of the building is the revitalization of the Carriage House, which historically served as a refuge for travelers and their horse-drawn carriages. The Carriage House’s first floor is now the Board Room for Trinity’s Board of Directors, while the second floor provides additional office spaces for church members. This project sought to blend the rich history of Jack’s House with modern functionality, enhancing the campus for its community.
