Caesars Octavia

As part of the Harrah’s to Caesars transformation, RGGC renovated the Masquerade Night Club into Octavia, a 29,000 square-foot multi-level gaming and entertainment venue at Caesars New Orleans Casino.

This project involved challenges due to the site’s irregular octagonal shape, requiring customized solutions for each of the eight sides. Constructing a bar space with 55-foot ceilings in an active casino demanded careful coordination of equipment and materials among multiple teams. The installation of finishes at the dome ceiling required specialized electric lifts that could navigate narrow doorways and reach the necessary heights. The project features a 30-foot chandelier mounted on an engineered hoist for servicing. A hidden 53-foot accordion fire door separates the hotel lobby from the casino, enhancing safety.   The space was renovated by RGGC in collaboration with AECOM Tishman.
