Good Counsel Apartments Historic Renovation

The Good Counsel Apartment project is a historic renovation to a 1910’s school building and auditorium located on Louisiana Avenue in the New Orleans Garden District. The renovation produced 22 apartment units ranging in size from 600 SF to 1,200 SF. The single story auditorium was converted into a two story structure with an interior parking garage on the bottom floor and apartment units on the second floor. The historic rehab included exterior and interior masonry restoration, wood window restoration, wood flooring restoration, a swimming pool, and new sprinkler, mechanical, electrical, and special systems.
