Las Cruces Tex Mex

RGGC completed new ground-up construction of a 7,000 square foot commercial building on a challenging, previously vacant triangular site adjacent to an active rail line at 2935 Airline Drive in Metairie. The pre-fabricated metal structure was manufactured in Texas and shipped to the site for on-site assembly. During sitework, the team encountered and removed old underground structures from a former hotel that previously occupied the lot. A key infrastructure challenge required RGGC to coordinate directly with the railroad company to bring power across the adjacent rail line to serve the building. The project included a mezzanine level, custom millwork, and an industrial interior finish palette. Sitework included 67 parking spaces, a network of swales and permeable surfaces for stormwater management, native landscaping, and the installation of stacked cargo containers along the rear property line.
